Coaching is about creating self awareness, trust in oneself and helping leaders to make the right choices. I believe in using coaching processes, creating the right kind of relationships and coaching conversations. In doing this, the coach helps leaders to reach the performance levels, learning and fulfillment they desire. This is what I believe coaching is and how it works.
I work as a training consultant and executive coach for national and international companies. I also do team coaching and behavioral and leadership development training. I work as an executive coach for Coachsource, which is one of the most distinguished coaching companies in USA. Recently, I have been coaching executives in Moscow, Dubai and Istanbul for them. In Turkey, I’m the training consultant and coach for the Adler School of Coaching. I give “Leader as a Coach: Positive Change” workshops for Adler to train internal coaches in the corporate world.
I’m a member of the ICF and adhere strictly to its code of ethics. I have completed the Adler coaching training and am now in the process of doing my PCC certification. I have a master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Development and am the co-author of five books. I’m a certified trainer of Gordon Training International USA and Tracom Group International USA.
I founded Vision Europe in Turkey and am the General Manager. We specialize in training and coaching. Leader effectiveness training, Social Styles, effective communication, parent effectiveness, synergistic selling, impact and influence are among the workshops I give in Central Asia, the Middle East and Turkey.

Communicating with others should be easier after we have learnt to speak. But very soon we learn that it’s not easy to communicate without there being misunderstandings and emotional stress. Sometimes communicating with others is the most difficult part of a job; clients, colleagues, direct reports… It’s important to realize that we are often responsible for these misunderstandings and that we need to do something about it. There is no doubt that if we communicate effectively, this leads to a better working environment and we become more productive as individuals and as organisations.
I am a sociologist who throughout my whole life has strived to learn better ways to communicate effectively. I’m passionate about sharing what I have learned. I am convinced of the power of active listening and the choice of the right word.
As a coach and a trainer, I believe in the potential of every individual. Each one of us can train ourselves to be better communicators, to reach our own goals and improve our skills. My role is to give people a candle so they can light their own paths; paths they already know exist, but where they have never dared tread.
I am a certified trainer of Parent Effectiveness from Gordon Training International and Social Styles from Tracom Group International. I am also certified as a coach by Adler School of Coaching, which is approved by the International Coaching Federation. I have a master’s degree in Sociology which improved my understanding of group dynamics and strengthened my belief in scientific approaches to social facts.
I live in Istanbul, city of two continents, with my husband and my two miracles - my son and my daughter.

My love of coaching and consulting was an inevitable outcome of my journey through self-discovery and awareness in all aspects of life.
I believe personal progress plays a vital role in success in business life. I decided that coaching should occupy a greater part of my professional life; hence I started to attend relevant certificate and non-certificate programs whenever I possibly could. This then led to a great urge to exercise all my new learning with colleagues, friends & family. Experiencing brilliant results with all, has only increased my belief in coaching not only as a path to personal development but also as a key to professional success.
Having 20 years of corporate experience in a multinational company in the service sector, including several senior management responsibilities; my resources are quite diverse in all aspects. Having said this, I have endeavoured to focus on progress in individuals in order to achieve goals as a group.
My approach to coaching puts aside any prejudices about the coach / coachee relationship. I have reached an understanding that I am neither a psychologist nor the coachee is a patient with some sort of guilty conscious to be dealt with. Our mutual and ultimate goal for the coachee is to enable them to enjoy a “better” personal and professional life in every possible aspect. Therefore, maximum involvement, interaction & exchange with the coachee is an absolute necessity for solid and sustainable results.
I have developed an honest, very sincere yet also a very straightforward style in coaching. On the one hand trying to focus on individual assets and bring forward the positive aspects & real potential, while on the other; trying even harder to enable people to face, and most importantly deal with, their negative and limiting aspects.
I have completed the CTI UK / Co-Active Coaching and Co-Active Leadership programs and am currently attending the Organization & Relationship Systems Coaching program which is to be completed shortly. Some of my previous professional responsibilites involved being Regional Director for Hotelbeds Accommodation & Destination Services; which is now a subsidiary of TUI Travel PLC. I have a BA in Business Administration. People define me as an outgoing and larger-than-life individual who is an outdoor enthusiast with an even greater love of personal development programs of all sorts. I am happily married and a father of 2; who happens to be enjoying the renaissance period of his life thanks to recent coaching experiences.

I believe that everyone desires and deserves to be successful. We are unique individuals in unique environments, all with different backgrounds, values, talents, skills and our own particular ways of dealing with people and processes. For me it’s important to keep this in mind when training or coaching people.
Throughout my career as trainer and coach I have realized that the better you know yourself, the better you can understand others. I strive to help people see the impact their behaviour has on other people and how they can develop productive relationships and therefore organizational success. My philosophy is mutual enrichment, broader understanding and inspiration for change, which in turn lead to tangible results.
I have a BA in English Language and Literature. I also have two masters degrees in social sciences – one in Measurement and Evaluation and the other in Educational Management. I have also completed a management course in the US. I have worked in the field of education and training in various settings as instructor, trainer and manager for more than 20 years. As an accredited trainer of Gordon Training International and The Tracom Group, I design and facilitate training programs on communication, customer relations, teamwork, management and leadership skills and the Social Style Model.
I am an enthusiastic facilitator and view every new experience as invaluable input to my aim of learning something new everyday. I facilitate in both English and Turkish.
I live with my family in Bursa and enjoy scuba diving.
