What I really enjoy about training is the human dimension; I find great satisfaction in helping people develop and realise their potential. I believe good training is like fine conversation, and one of my aims is to help participants achieve open and fruitful dialogue because good communication leads to a happier, motivated and ultimately more productive workforce.

I have experienced working for a range of companies, from my own small business to multinationals, and I have extensive on-the-job training experience. An enthusiastic and focused trainer, my particular interest lies in facilitation, team building and experiential learning. Clients have told me they appreciate my structured approach; they have often remarked that I have been able to see aspects of problems other people cannot see. I listen, analyse and provide feedback with clarity and integrity.

I am fluent in English and French. I like to think I am eco-friendly and am at ease with both humans and plants (probably thanks to my BSc in Plant Genetics from the University of East Anglia in England). I live in the countryside near Geneva and my interests include gardening, bird-watching, scrambling up mountains and sampling the delights of the local cuisine and chocolate industry.

I find I always learn something from training others.

For years, I have been passionate about people and the impact of their communication. The quality of how people interact with themselves and others has played an important part in my career.

I have been working as an executive coach, shadow coach and trainer since 2001. I have also developed and delivered many custom-tailored courses on leadership, management, transition and communication-related subjects mainly in Luxury, Medical, IT, FMCG sectors and banking. I also teach coaching, and intervene in corporate MBA programs.
Focusing on empowering people to realise sustainable results, I help clients increase the impact of their communication, gain more influence, overcome unhelpful habits and develop effective management practices. I aim to create relationships of trust with my clients and to facilitate their development with ease and passion.

I believe that self-awareness is the key for development and performance. To this end I assess people before a training to help them know where they are, and afterwards to measure to what extent they have implemented what they have learnt. I have advised several companies on determining new hires, promotions and bonuses using different tools such as 360, Lab Profile, interviews and role plays. I spend time during workshops analysing how participants will use what they have learnt in the future, and, if needed, how they can adapt their new knowledge to their environment, personality and specific issues.

Prior to becoming a talent developer, I have had over eight years' international managerial experience in companies and organisations. As a lawyer with a MA in risk management, I used to work on managing the flow of information, knowledge management and sensitive information. I have always been interested in how information reaches people and even more now in this world of change and new technology. This is one of the reasons why I also work with virtual teams to help them to communicate and function well.

I describe myself as inspiring, creative and open-minded. I believe I have an engaging personality and I enjoy theatre and acting. After having left my home in France, I lived in several countries in Europe and Asia. I am now based in Geneva, Switzerland, where I enjoy nature: sailing in summer and skiing in winter.

As an Organisational Development consultant and coach I enjoy working with both individuals and organizations to enhance their effectiveness, alignment and vitality. I bring a passion and commitment to my work to deliver results that add value and make a difference. This has fuelled my personal, professional and educational development over the years.

Having broad experience across cultures as an internal and external consultant and people manager, I bring strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to my work. Originally from Canada, I now live in Switzerland where I worked in Senior Global HR roles with Roche Pharmaceutical for nine years. Partnering with Line Managers and HR across cultures and regions, I developed, facilitated and implemented Global HR processes. My specialist areas are leadership coaching and development, team facilitation and coaching, talent management, performance management and organizational and culture change. To support leadership and team development, I used various leadership and team assessment tools, such as 360 feedback, development centres, team surveys, DISC and MBTI.

As a creative and systemic thinker, I have a talent for developing innovative concepts and successfully translating them into pragmatic, integrated and sustainable solutions. I felt tremendous pride when an integrated leadership and talent management approach I was responsible for won a Pharma Gold Olympic Award for innovation and achievement. It was also rated as the highest engagement factor in an employee engagement survey.

In Canada I worked as a Training and Development consultant and specialised in Cross Culture Communication and Awareness. I had the privilege to facilitate groups, train and coach professionals from all over the world and from industries such as pharmaceuticals, technology, telecommunications, engineering and retail manufacturing.

I have a degree in Social Science and have done post graduate studies in Human Resource Management, Adult Education and Organisational Development. In addition I am a certified ontological coach with additional certifications in relationship systems coaching, NLP, change management, and various assessment tools. Over the years I have attended numerous leadership and talent development trainings and continue to enjoy learning, developing myself and exploring ways to express my creativity.
