My main interests are in the area of organisational development, being an expert consultant in human resource development, marketing, PR, strategic planning, proposal writing, financial management and fund-raising.

I am the Director of the Institute for Public Development and the Co-Director of the Center for NGO Support.

For both organisations I have developed educational programmes including distance learning courses. I conduct workshops on leadership, as well as other topics such as project monitoring and evaluation and on all the other topics of my work as a consultant.

Having studied and taught at the Moscow State University, I have worked for different companies in Moscow including Barrio Espanol Co, Boston Consulting Group and World Learning Inc before joining the Center for NGO Support and the Institute for Public Development.

My expertise includes years of consultation in human resources development and management, institutional development, capacity building and management, media cultivation, marketing and project design.

I have developed programmes and have conducted workshops for various organisations in human resources, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), marketing and public relations.

I studied Economics at the Moscow Institute for International Affairs and then did a post graduate degree at the Russian Academy of Science. My work started as an economics correspondent at Interfax News Agency in Moscow. I became the head of the economic department of Rjica News Agency in Moscow and later moved to the Citizens’ Democracy Corps. From 1994 to 1997 I supported World Learning Inc, Moscow, as a Senior Program Officer. That role included the delivery of many training workshops and consultation on the topics mentioned above.

I continue to work in these areas, currently as the Co-Director of the Center for NGO Support and the Chief Specialist on coalition building and research at the Institute for Public Development.
