My passion is to help and see people grow and develop; it makes me grow too! Being a typical “Norwegian kid”, I love the outdoors and use natural resources and creativity to move and advance, as in sailing and skiing.
My experience in nature has given me a deep knowledge of human progress, which I also use in coaching and training.

After 12 years in Switzerland, California and France for studies and work experience, I returned to Norway, where I worked as a sales manager in the computer business. Then coaching “hit” me. I trained as a co-active coach and was certified by CTI (The Coaches Training Institute) in 2005. From 2001 – 2007, I worked as an internal coach at Bergen Energi, the largest international energy broker company in Norway, where I gained a lot of experience in coaching for performance in the competitive business world, how to grow and develop sales teams and leaders and how to create a better feedback culture in organisations.

I am now working with teams and team leaders to enhance development and results by working better and smarter together. I coach and lead workshops in Norwegian, English and French. I understand Swedish and Danish too, so can conduct workshops in those countries as well.

Clients say that my enthusiasm, positive approach and commitment to progress are contagious and that my coaching skills and charisma help them to make radical changes, so they really get what they want.

What I really enjoy apart from meaningful work, is a rich life with family, friends and nature!

I enjoy bringing excellent results, joy and courage into the workplace. I like to apply my strong background in theology, dialogue and group dynamics into my work with groups and individuals on leadership and group processes. Over the years, I have taken on many different roles including mediator, advisor, manager, coach, trainer and, of course, minister. I have been a minister in the church of Norway for 12 years and during this time have delivered leadership training for church leaders and serving ministers. These days, I am a part time minister and split my time between the church and coaching at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences and the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports.

I am the President of Ottersen Gitso AS which provides corporate coaching and team development programmes and our clients are from all over Europe, as well as China and the USA. I am President of Adler learning in Norway and this allows me to facilitate and supervise the use of the Adler suite of programmes across Scandinavia.

I have so far spent 7200 hours coaching leaders. This is underpinned by being a full member of the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches and my ICF certification.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering and a master’s degree in Theology .
I live in Oslo, Norway.
