Development? For me it's much more than learning a new skill. It's about raising your self awareness, achieving clarity about what you really want and finding out what’s the best way for you to get there. Knowing yourself and the impact you have on others can make a real difference in business and in life in general.
My business background is broad and so is my role as a consultant and coach. I love working with people on topics such as leadership, people management, transitions management, personality, team building, conflict resolution, self management and presentations. Snowball offers an even wider range of topics because we believe managers must be extremely flexible to succeed in a world of constant change.
Before founding Snowball with Bridget in 1997 I gained 12 years of management experience with Johnson & Johnson. Here I led teams in different departments. I worked in R&D, Marketing and Human Resources and this exposure to different aspects of the business has been invaluable to me. It was great to receive an award for the consumer affairs system we built up during my first years. When I was in HR, it was good to see that mergers can work well with good support from HR. Designing and conducting workshops was also a major part of my HR role.
I have a post graduate degree in social science and education and enjoy developing myself further. I’m an NLP Master and Trainer and am certified to use several international programmes and psychometric tests such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator Step II, DISC, ARP, PPP (Power Potential Profile including a 360 survey).
I live with my family close to Düsseldorf, Germany, and conduct workshops throughout EMEA in both English and German.

I enjoy meeting people in all kinds of situations. I studied sociology and adult education and love to support others in their professional development by helping them to define who they are, to recognise their uniqueness, their talents and potential and to find opportunities for positive and authentic personal development.
Being in touch with your own charisma and awareness of your impact on others are, for me, the foundations for effective communication and therefore success.
My work is based on a sound knowledge of Behavioural Psychology, gained through both my studies as a sociologist and 10 years of practical work experience with both mentally and physically handicapped people. This work background has helped me to develop my own skills in empathising with people and to help them to help themselves.
During workshops I focus on building individual strengths by means of practical exercises. My clients tell me they really appreciate my relaxed and humorous way of facilitating combined with my fair and precise observation of what’s going on. This makes my workshops a special experience for them.
I specialise in behaviour, communication and body language. This has a particular impact on topics such as presentations, coaching and people management.
I live with my family near Düsseldorf. In my free time I enjoy singing (jazz and classical) and play several different musical instruments.

Valuing diversity and knowing how to get the most out of it is, for me, one of the most important success criteria of any organization. To do this, I have learnt that you first need to discover your own personality and what makes you uniquely you.
I delight in seeing how people benefit from understanding themselves better, which leads to better relationships and better results. What impresses me most is seeing the shift from diversity leading to conflict to diversity leading to positive energy and results.
My area of expertise is based on my broad business background and includes personal development, people management, team development and coaching as well as finance for non-financial managers.
Before working as a consultant I gained 10 years of management experience in the international Coca-Cola business where I managed teams in different functional areas. I worked in both Finance and Human Resources, which enabled me to get a deep understanding of the business. This experience is very valuable to me in my work as a consultant as it allows me to be a business partner as well as a coach.
I have a post graduate degree in economics. I am also a certified systemic coach and trainer. I am certified to use international psychometric tests such as the Success Insights. I enjoy developing myself and attend courses whenever I can. I live close to Düsseldorf and conduct workshops throughout Europe in both German and English.

Respect for each other, trust and making the most of individual strengths are, in my view, prerequisites for a successful team. Management techniques are also an important element of working professionally. Different personalities can work effectively only if the processes are correct, meetings achieve results and everybody is able to organise work and time in a meaningful way.
I work as an Executive Search consultant, as a facilitator (leadership courses and team workshops) and as a systemic coach for individuals.
During the 19 years I worked for Mars and Johnson & Johnson (17 years in line management) I gained broad experience in training, people development, people management, senior leadership, project management and process excellence.
My certification as a systemic coach enables me to help people to develop effectively and to work with them on their business and personal challenges in a solution oriented way. My individual coaching focuses on senior managers, executives and company owners.
I studied adult education, psychology and theatre/drama and graduated with a Magister Artium (Master of Arts) degree. I live with my family close to Düsseldorf, Germany.

Isn’t it amazing how much potential we can develop within us if we get the right food for thought which then triggers the journey of personal development?
For me, a major key is open and effective communication.
I aim to make topics relevant and practical for participants so that they can reflect upon their impact on everyday, work-related issues and to give them the tools to tackle individual challenges.
My work focuses on leadership, personality development, team coaching, motivation and conflict management.
As a business management graduate I specialise in coaching and change management.
I am now also a certified trainer for individual and team coaching, personality development and conflict and change management. This includes certification in MBTI, MBTI plus© and AVP©, Fish!, NLP (DVNLP) and business mediation. This background enables me to use knowledge, tools and interventions in a targeted way.
My basic beliefs about humans are: People are always at the centre of our attention. People together have endless opportunities.

Successful change in organisations requires constructive dialogue and co-operation. As a consultant I love the challenge of creating something new with people based on effective communication. I specialise in big, mostly hierarchical, organisations in the public sector. I am fascinated by the jigsaw of people with different backgrounds at different levels in organisations and how they interact.
I support managers in 4 main areas: organisational development, project management, conflict consultancy / mediation and coaching. It’s very important for me to create a good, vital contact with my clients. During my work I pay special attention to keeping the balance between the needs of the organisation and those who work for it. I perceive this as essential for individuals’ willingness to develop.
After studying law, I worked for a city council where I set up the organisational and people development department, which I managed for 10 years. In 1999 I joined Austrian Consultants. During that time I was responsible for many change projects and I conducted workshops on project management, presentation, communication and conflict management.
Since 2002 I have been a speaker in project management and conflict management for MBA programmes at Danube University in Krems, Austria.
In 2005 I started my own business - Beraten mit Kontakt. I’m Austrian and have been living since 2001 with my wife in Munich, Germany.

People are different – and that’s good. Each individual has different needs and expectations and reacts differently: What one person perceives as pleasant might be perceived negatively by another. The relationship between you and other individuals and groups is important in the workplace. But it is also vital to know yourself and your own strengths and needs.
Despite incredibly fast technological development, humans are more and more at the centre of our attention. That’s why I started my own business in training and development in 2001.
My main competences in the area of training and coaching are: strategic development of small and medium sized companies, change management, executive coaching, self and relationship management, leadership, conflict management and sales.
After my studies in business management and some time spent in the US and the UK, I started working in advertising and consultancy, specialising in marketing and sales for hotels. I also studied psychoanalysis as a morphological effect researcher (market and media) and am a certified INSIGHTS-MDI trainer and coach, a master leadership trainer of Brian Tracy International Corporate University (BTICU), an NLP Master (DVNLP), a systemic coach and a master at Anthony Robbins Mastery University in Europe and the US.
I live near Düsseldorf and work mainly in German speaking countries.
